Allyn International Donates to the Fight Against Cancer

PRAGUE, Czech Republic (May 28, 2014) – Allyn International´s European office donated 5,689 Czech crowns (approximately $284) to the Czech League Against Cancer. A large majority of this amount (4,189 CZK) was collected during the Czech Day Against Cancer, where employees had the opportunity to purchase the traditional yellow flower to contribute to the fight against cancer. Allyn International added 1,500 CZK to the final amount donated by the employees.

The proceeds from the campaign will be used for cancer prevention, cancer research, and aiding those with tumors. The Czech League Against Cancer celebrated its 18th year by holding this event in more than 1,000 towns and cities all over the Czech Republic. 

Allyn has a history of giving to those in need. Every quarter, employees nominate a charity to support and hold various fundraisers such as bake sales, silent auctions, and chili cook-offs. The proceeds from these events, combined with Allyn's matching funds, have generated more than $140,000 distributed to charitable organizations since 1992.
